What makes Mayweather frightening is that he also possesses a granite chin

I think his ability to recover as quick as he does is the most impressive thing... Conditioning is second to none

Yes he did but it was more a balance knockdown than Mayweather being seriously hurt or dazed.

Floyd Mayweather has an average chin .

Past Prime Sugar Shane nearly ended their fight with just 1 punch .

Nothing Granite about his chin .

I don't like him but he is a truly great fighter.

He is getting on in age and needs to retire soon.

Ray Leonard's chin is ****, Duran almost ended their fight with 1 punch. :patsch

Mayweather was hit by 2 huge bombs and came back and totally dominated the rest of the round.

He put on a clinic in round 3, one of the most dominant rounds in history.

Floyds defence is o good we will never know how good his chin is, he took two solid shots off Mosely but his chin was hardly swinging in the air and he fairly well balanced when he took the shots, that's no where near enough evidence to claim he has a granite chin

The main purpose of this post like many others on this forum was to bait people , nothing insiteful or interesting, just pure baiting.....zzz z zzzz z

Floyd must be one one the least frightening boxers to fight.....think about the reality that his opponents face

    Career high pay day
Almost Zero public expectation of victory
Very low chance of being knocked out or badly beaten up

It's a pleasant if undramatic night for everyone

I think he has a very good chin, not granite. His defense and conditioning though make it a mostly moot point.

It's hard to tell because Floyd rarely ever gets hit with anything flush. People keep talking about the flush shot MOsley landed on him in the 2nd round of their fight.

Think about that, that fight occurred 3 years ago and it was the last time anyone hit Floyd with anything remotely damaging. It really goes to show you how incredible this guys defense is. I've seen a lot of footage of Pep, I've seen Benitez fight live and the great sweet pea as well, and no offense to those guys, but to me Floyd is the greatest defensive fighter of this or any other generation in boxing.

he constantly gets hit at less than 20% every fight and he's no slouch on the offensive side either with averages of around 45-52% every fight in total punch accuracy. I can't think of anyone that can give this guy a hard time in the ring until he retires. It's going to suck when that day comes though, because the boxing world will have lost one of the greatest master-boxing pugilists the sport has ever known.
