At 126 he didnt even win a title this is true.

But at the time Marco A Barrera was rated number 1 by Ring mag there.

Same at 140 he won a IBO title but Hatton was ranked number 1 there also by Ring.

So im not to sure on this but did he get Ring Belts for his wins at 126 and 140.

Hatton was Floyd leftovers and didn't really stand a chance considering his style and **** defense. Morales and Barrera were Pac's most impressive wins IMO. Pac is a machine and I do think, MAYBE, he may beat Floyd now. I just don't find Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Marg or Clottey impressive wins, although I will admit the way he defeated them were impressive with the exception of Clottey. I'm a little surprised he couldn't KO Marg and even Oscar for that matter since he hit them with everything and the kitchen sink.
I think he does need Floyd to cement his ATG legacy and likewise Floyd needs him.

Look i agree most true fans knew he was going to beat Margo.

    I was very very confident.

But i take nothing away from Margo he trained and looked in great shape. But mentally he was never the same fighter after his loss to Sugar Shane.

But for Pac to beat Margo who outweighed him by 15 pounds or so come fight night to me is still impressive and although some Pac fans are hyping the win i feel its more like he didnt really have many other options.

I mean when PBF didnt fight who is left and i was happy with the Margo fight at least he was a decent name and at least he came to win unlike Clottey.

So its a better win than Clottey or Diaz.

But its not as good as Hatton or Cotto or Marquez or Barrera or Morales.

Now though that he has beaten the **** out of Margo there IMO is not that many fights out there for him that the fans want.

Me personally this is my list of the top 5 fights for Manny.

    1. Mayweather (But if this never happens the fights below should be next)

    2. Cotto (He came off a great win against Foreman)

    3. The winner out of Marquez v Katsidis (I would watch either again fight Pac)

    4. Martinez (at 154 but this is a huge ask for Manny as SM is huge)

    5. Berto or Bradley (2 of the Up and Comers with Belts that more than likely Pac will win)

After those fights though there is not much out there.

Did Cotto not win his next fight against unbeaten champion Yuri Foreman afer losing to Manny? How can Cotto be washed up?

The ring belt is not a title. You cant just be an 8 division champ and not hold a legit strap in that division. Hatton was not the best at 140. He was in his prime of course. Not when Pac faced him. He was just a big name and big money fight. He fought Luzcano and Malignagi for ****s sakes. Not one of the real 140 pound champs or contenders. This is too much. Just make up stats as you go along.

Maybe not washed up but not in his prime certainly. Cotto is still an A class fighter, but not the fighter he was before Marg.

Just think about how these fights versus these fighters would have went down had they have been in their prime, before someone else had beat it out of them.

Cotto may have beaten Pac. Tough to say.

Oscar at 135 was a monster and good chance he would have laid pac out due to the power he had in that hook and speed to match. That would have been interesting.

    Hatton -- same result.

Marg -- same result, I think.

Pac needs another fighter like Marquez who is prime and mentally on the same level as him.

Floyd has been being a ***** so it's not entirely Pac's fault.

Still bitter about the Oscar beat-down, huh? Oscar tried to pick on a midget for the big bucks and crippled himself like a moron to do it. Then got the **** kicked out of him. Deal with it.

(I didn't read the comments, I'm sure somebody already said this)

You're right about Oscar. He got destroyed by Pac and I was predicting that on another board before it happened. That has nothing to do with the fact Manny's recent opposition have been hand picked fighters not in their prime, Oscar included.

Reasons of why Pacman is an All Time Great?

    a) Being, in history of boxing, the only fighter who has been lineal champion in four divisions: Flyweight, Featherweight, Junior Lightweight and Junior Welterweight.

    b) Jumping, with success, from 105 lbs. to 145 lbs. This was also done by other all time greats like Roy Jones, Roberto Duran, Archie Moore, Mickey Walker, etc.

    c) Beating the following fighters (Top10s) since 1996: Chockvivat, Sasakul, Ledwaba, Eliecer, Barrera (x2), Morales (x2), Larios, Solis, Diaz, JMM, De la Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito.

Pac has it all, he is a prototypical elite ATG. If you look at the greatest fighters of all time SRR, SRL, Duran, Greb, Ketchel, Armstrong. All aggressive boxer punchers. PAcquiao fits this mold.

Guys like Ali, Pernell, Floyd, theyre all slick and it has advantages and they win most fantasy matchups. But in reality, this style is not the style of the elites ATGs.
