Mayweather should be the favourite. But Pacquiao ain't easy work for anyone and is his toughest challenge.

People say that Pacquiao will not land a single punch on Mayweather, and people also say that Mayweather will die from the very first punch Pacquiao lands on him in the first 30 seconds of Round 1.

Ok, I'm lying about both, but still, you can't blame Marquez for drinking peepee. :worm

    **** off, *****.

Log off, you piece of ****.

There is no certainty in boxing. A good shot can ko anybody. Floyd can ko Pac with one shot and viceversa. But Floyd is the superior boxer. He has more power, is faster is much more accurate and has the best defense in boxing history. Pac is a fighting machine with a lots of vulnerabilities and that has been show with his 3 loses without the one that marquez did in his first fight. In the second one i saw Pac win by a point, but a very close one. Pac has fail or struggle with boxers. Floyd has struggle with nobody, you cant count a fight when he was injured, like the Castillo. His detractors point to that fight, but did not mention how easily he beat him afterward. Apart from a day when he was injury, he has not struggle with nobody, no matter what style they has, he has beat them easily. He is underrated as an inside fighter and he can crush Paquiao with an inside fight, and he can coast to a decision boxing. When you combine a tireless guy, with the best defense in boxing history, a guy who can punch and can punch hard when he wants, a guy who dominates any single punch with perfect technique and timing, and a guy who has excellent legs, you has a formidable opponent. Thats why Mosley failed miserably with Floyd and did and excellent fight with Cotto (some writers of this fight said that Molsey won). The losers would say that he was old, but he was old when he faced Cotto and Cotto was much younger 26-27 than Floyd whe he fight Mosley. Floyd is 33 a veteran veteran but fresh as a kid. Mosley get tired in the Cotto fight too, in the 4 round he was gasping for air in the corner, but he can regroup because he faced a much lesser opponent, one that he can hit easily. Floyd has a lot of punch, but he did not sit in his punches. Mosley has take big punches from big guys, and the punches of Floyd were hurting him, like the big guys. That is the reason why he was so tantive to throw a puch, to not get hit. Stewart says that if Floyd would be a aggressive fighter he could ko Mosley i saw the same in the fight. Pac is much smaller than Mosley, is very hittable and in 147 pounds his stamina has not been so great as the people want you to believe. He cant finish Cotto earlier because he get tired and with Clottey he was throwing punches but it was tired too, and he punches both at will, in Floyd he will be more tired because he will need to employ better to hit him and he would miss a lot. He needs the first 4 round to ko Floyd. If he does not do that he will be stopped in the late rounds. But remenber a puch can turn the tides and nothing is write in stone. If Pac pressure too much in the first rounds he can get ko too and early. A good fight that we need to see, no matter if you pick Floyd or Pac. This is a legendary fight without been made. Floyd has never been defeat or throw to the canvas, in Paquiao you have a different story and he has lost with much lesser opponents than Floyd.

I'm not very confident Mayweather can win this one and might be picking Pacquiao if the fight is on after checking out things go. So far it's 50/50 and it's hard to have a solid prediction, even when I will have one I won't be too confident about it. Whoever wins I'll be shocked and if it's by KO then I can't even describe how shocked I'll be.

I only bring this fight up because it will set up more important megabouts in the future with tough, European boxers. I consider this fight an elmintor of sorts, with the winner having earned a shot with one or more of the following undefeated Euro-level talents:

lol yea. lets hope one of those guys gives mayweather or pacquio a chance. do you think Mayweather or Pacquio have done enough to deserve a fight with them? I think may or pac need to fight some of the Euro level contenders to earn a shot to one of those big boys.

This would not be a bad idea. However, I think public demand for these fights will be too high, and the fights should be made right away.

The difference being Castillo went on to break into the top 10 P4P rankings soon after the fights with Floyd where as Morales got beat up by David Diaz and set up an all action showdown with Willie Limond.
