What makes people think Haye deserves an automatic shot at Wlad's title?

What is it with all this Wlad is scared and ducking Haye bull****.

Haye had what 2 fights at heavyweight against nobodies. Why should he get a shot at the champ right away?

If they fight next, Wlad KTFO of him and then Wlad gets no credit and everyone will just say "big deal Wlad beat a cruiserweight"

If Haye gets a few fights at heavy and becomes a top 10 name himself in the division, then it will be meaningful for them to fight.

Lets see if Haye could get past someone like Brewster or Rahman before getting an automatic shot at the champ. :deal

Good question, probably cause he is the most exciting fight for Wlad, and people just want to see it happen. Other than that I'm sure Haye doesn't deserve a shot at the title, he is unproven and hasn't earned his way there yet.

I don't know, but we see it else where all the time. What makes this so different? Calzaghe, Undisputed at 168 gets an immediate shot at 175. Spinks gets the shot at Taylor. The examples are MANY. Zag was gonna take on Taylor at 68 before JT lost. Hatton vs. Mayweather. Seems to be OK many other times, then on the other hand people raise a storm over the idea.

A combination of the heavyweight division being **** poor, Haye being the undisputed Cruiserweight Champion moving up in weight, and Haye looking great in recent fights.

    Wlad isnt ducking Haye...yet.:D

Give Haye a win over a legit top 10 heavy and everyone will be calling for the fight, Wlad will have no other option!

Haye vs Rahman, Barrett or McCline would be a good start, Haye vs Potvetkin for the eliminator for Klits title would be good direction to go in.

Because he is the undisputed CW champion of the world. The undisputed MW champion of the world would get a shot at a SMW's title directly upon moving up. Same in any other weight division. Calderon is the latest example.

    Why is HW so different?

Ite true boxing is littered with examples of the best in one division going up in weight and getting a direct shot at the best in the higher division.

Still, Id prefer Haye to get a couple of heavyweight Ko's under his belt to get the bandwagon really rolling!

I won't go as far as deserve. If there was some immediate contender or destructive champion in the division that Wlad had the opportunity to face, but chose Haye instead, I would pan him. This however is not the case, since Wlad is easily favored over all current champions and contenders. Haye is the CW champion with great power and certainly the ability to add on more weight to his frame. Champions from lower weight classes move up to fight other champions all the time. RJJ got an immediate shot at Ruiz.

because he isnt wlad's best opponent in the division. Peter, the WBA beltholder and Povetkin are more worthy right now.

At this point, i would pick valuev, sultan, povetkin, peter and probably chagaev to beat Haye. thompson and virchis would certainly be live. more lucrative doesnt mean the best quality. haye will have to prove that by knocking off these hws first.
