What makes people think Haye deserves an automatic shot at Wlad's title?

:yep People seem to be VERY selective for who "deserves" a shot or not, with no set in stone rules to follow any ways.

Because he's the undisputed Cruiserweight champ and he's calling out the no.1 Heavy. He realises he's not gonna fight him this year, he's just creating interest in a possible fight.

I still think Haye's career will be shorter than 30 fights. Maybe only 4-5 more.

because wlad would be stripped of the IBF/WBO, then we have 4 or 5 titleholders. everyone was bitching at wlad to unify, now they want him to fight an undeserving challenger and relinquish his belts. he wont do it no matter how much haye barks at him. wlad will again look to unify after povetkin. haye's best bet is to pick up a belt.

"Deserving" hasn't been a requirement in the HW division for some time now. Just be glad some decent fights can get made.

Nobody questioned that JC should fight for championship (even if only the ring championship) first time out at LHW.

No one would question Pavlik getting a title shot first time out at SMW.

Sure he should have a few build up fights but boxing history is littered with champs moving up to fight for a belt in the division above.

Whoever holds the title has but one mandatory per year and as many optionals as he desires. Haye is the undisputed cruiserweight champion there fore he is a worthy opponent for the heavyweight title. The notion that he has to beat a couple of losers like Rahman or Brewster to deserve a shot at the title is a bit silly.

until Haye beats a couple good HW's like Iggy or Chambers he shouldn't say ****, he's a few fights away yet! The jury is still out. It takes more then a mouth peice to convince me he deserves Wlad.
