Well Americans often identify themselves as something-American be it Irish, African, Italian or any other nationality you can think of. Perhaps this is another example of that.

I'm sure if Povetkin made a promise of a rematch he would have kept it! No matter how many bad dreams he had about big Vitali. And even if his mom didn't wanna see him get tagged again.

Maybe his mum wouldn't have had any concerns if the fight had been arranged to occur in the U.K. whilst he was allowed to roid up safe in the knowledge that even if he was caught his billionaire benefactor would still pay him a large amount of money and get some other sacrificial lamb in last minute should his opponent refuse to play ball.

    Lol!!!

    Dude... Lewis RIR37.

And Povetkin didn't "Roid" check again at the substances he was accused of using. Now Louis Ortiz, Tarver and James Toney on the other hand!! Those were Cattle Steroids that Ben Johnson would have ran a 9.49 with.

Well for one thing he hasn't exactly faced the best competition. The one time he faced an elite heavyweight he looked horrific. And then the one time he faced an elite cruiserweight, he also looked terrible. He probably has been a top 5 talent for awhile, as you said - but he tends to be grossly overrated on the whole.

The one time he fought a top 10 SHW he was destroyed. He's competitive with smaller fighters or SHWs who are not in the top 10.

The RIR37 thing is one of the most tragic things posted on the boards. Anyone would think Lewis was 27 the way some of you lot go on.

Firstly I've never justified those cheats taking PEDs. I've always condemned them.

And secondly now Povetkin is obviously dirty who ****ing knows what he's on. Anything he can get his cheating hands on would be my bet.

Would you also agree that the odds of the good fighters from the 90's taking PED's are on the higher side? Considering there was no VADA or WADA watching them like hawks.

I'm actually Ukrainian, and I'm not trolling :)

I just thought it would be great thread for General forum.

I like the level of intelligence on this forum in Povetkin threads :)

The title of this thread lead me to wrongly assume this would be another Povetkin doping discussion.

Its not but Im going to say, why would Povetkin whose probably the best boxer of the lot based on his performances (not including vs Wlad) take drugs? Is he just a drug cheat that sees PEDs as a luxury like a pair of winning gloves? Does he have a cardiovascular condition or something affecting that? Or an endurance problem? Or is he simply framed? Its hard to make sense of it all.

I know its crossed your minds and Im sure some of the minds of his haters that can appreciate ones ability to box when they see it. PEDs doesnt seem neccessary, its like giving Michael Jordan PEDs to dunk a 6 foot high hoop.

Hopefully Povetkin can do an honest reveal all interview one day.
