This is the type of crap I'm talking about. Fans letting their hearts rule their heads..........

Haye was pretty damn close to knocking Valuev spark out, with a single shot............No way Wlad could do that

Wlad's cool, calm and collected, as long as he's facing a clown...........

Anyone really going for him, he tends to panic

I think Haye has a good chance, if he uses the attributes listed above well. But I also there this a good chance that Haye's confidence will crumble quickly when he gets into Wlad's jabbing range. Unless Haye is at his best, mentally and physically, with a smart strategy that he sticks to, it could be a very FRUSTRATING fight for Haye.

    Really?

I'm considering Haye's mental toughness, but I'm not sure this is a fair conclusion at this stage in his career.

    It's very odd to me.

Haye is to me clearly a few levels above anything Wlad has faced and also a level or 2 above Wlad himself

, July 2nd is going to be very special, mainly because there are so many Wlad lovers and Hayeters who cant see what's about to come, the shock that a lot of people will feel is what will make it so entertaining to watch.

Obviously there is always the chance of a sucker punch in any HW contest so this fight is no different, Wlad does have a punchers chance but thats it.

Haye just hasnt been tested at heavyweight, he's been in trouble against smaller men with far less ability that wlad.

Davids past performances (im thinking audrey and valuev) indicate that he doesnt have the mentality to do what he needs to against wlad, which in my opinion is bob weave and get inside. He also lacks significant physical strength and chin to follow this gameplan.

He cant afford to take one to land one. He has virtually zero room for error or his lights will be put out. Someone with zero room for error has to fight cautious and I dont think he can win being cautious either..

I just cant see him winning a round to be honest.

haye looks quick and powerful.but as ive said before.shannon briggs looked fast and powerful against weaker opponents and look how he done against good fighters..haye hasnt fought any1 as gd as wlad..people seem to forget that before manny wlad was still a hell of a gd boxer.he had balance issues among other things but manny has sorted them out and its very naive to think that wlad cant box any other way than wat hes been doing...

People claim Wlad is overrated, but who's really overrated? cause Wlad has a bodywork you can actually asses, what has Haye done?

Not one of Haye's opponents at HW were live opponents, yet we are to believe he's on Wlad's level, that he would easily of beaten guys like Solis, Arreola, Povetkin, Adamek Chagaev, Peter, Chambers, Thompson? based on what? victories over Valuev, Harrison?

I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of those were to rail road Haye, cause fighters with poor chins rarely have consistency.

Fans have been playing the Floyd Mayweather card regarding Haye, which is to say........I think he would beat Solis, Arreola, Povetkin, Adamek Chagaev, Peter, Chambers, Thompson, that he's on Wlad's level, so why fight them? cause he would do this that and the other to them.

People can claim Wlad has fought bums, dismiss what he's done, but do people really think its as simplistic as that someone didn't have the desire to win, someone didn't move laterally on him? Wlad is the one who's getting no respect, not Haye. Whether you like Wlad or not, at the very least you should respect his professional and discipline in the ring, boring or not, his opponents didn't just blow over in the wind, and a number of them were world champs.

Interesting reading through the comments here.

Yes, I agree that Haye's resume isn't that impressive and there's not much in it to suggest he would beat Wladimir. And that it's even more worrying when you consider the fact that he had some close fights with those calibre of guys (particularly at cruiserweight - a division which has always lacked talent).

However, I have a feeling Haye will do better than most people think. Win or lose, he definitely isn't getting destroyed like most here are making out. Wladimir, being a non-explosive fighter, isn't built to do that to Haye.

When did I say I was convinced Haye will win? Stop trying to read into comments. You're clearly not good at it.
