just rewatching some of cottos great fights like this one
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE_ROK-4knM&feature=related[/ame]

and even though i like margarito and i give him the benefit of the doubt and blame his trainer, what happened in that fight should have never happened and the guy could have got killed.

these guys put their life and body on the line if that wasnt enough then you have to overcome these adversities.

so heres to cotto my current favourite fighter of the last decade thanks for the memories and good luck in the future.

    WAR COTTO:bbb

there is no way in hell the cheater didn't know. he's a piece of ****...and so is his trainer and promoter. they should be banned for life. arum petitioned for 8oz gloves in that fight even though the rule had been changed to 10oz gloves. i don't remember either fighter asking for 8oz gloves.

Agreed. I'm an admitted huge Cotto fan, but I think you just have to be a decent human being to understand how wrong that was. Most men would never bounce back from that. Cotto carried himself with class, faced his tormentor, and got his victory.

he wasnt the same after that loss to margarito the doubts were always there you could tell

what could have been of cotto if he hadnt taken that fight or if it was fought fairly

Cotto's athletic prime clearly ended after the Margarito beat down, but I think his technical outboxing skills and fundamentals are as good as they've ever been.

Catchweight NY Venue only, 10 ounce everlast dont mind the 10 ounces per the rules but everlast come on miguel.
Then the ***** had Nazim show up to play head games and a Puerto Rican Dr and got his win the only way he could Miguel could never go 12 with Margarito nor could he knock him out he needs these types of tactics to win, This is why I dont support him anymore he is 100% ***** made
