Ward-Froch - that's a long time off, no one knows who will win so you can't announce a fight with the winner realistically

Hopkins - too far up in weight and will Hops get past Dawson?

Pacquaio - unlikely but possible, Pac has to get past JMM, he can't announce a fight before that, and Arum has just signed Bradley specifically to match him with Pac

Mayweather - just won, no plans, therefore more a likely candidate

Who else? Bute/Pirog? not that big is it

15 days? Huge scope of a fight? That quick after Barker? It's all about Floyd, no questions asked.

I cant see hopkins going to lower than 170 and Sergio is saying his max is 164 and he really wasnt even trying hard to chase the 168 guys so I cant see him at all having done negotiations with hopkins and hopkins already has a fight signed and doesnt usually promote way ahead of time or announce distant fights.

I can see Floyd making the fight because Sergio is probably pretty willing to give up a nice percentage of the purse and thats all floyd wants anyways. I hope its at 154 though not 150.

What is the biggest fight 15 years ago he's talking about? ODLH vs. Trinidad? I thought the biggest fight as of late was FMJ vs. ODLH.

Are you serious? Floyd was selling 350K ppv buys with Judah and baldomir before oscar dela hoya. Martinez had to give away free tickets at his fights.

Maybe he can fight at 150?

We dont particularly know. Martinez is a very athletic dude Im sure he wont have to degrade himself into a zombie for fight night.

    But I might be wrong.

  12. I highly doubt it, mainly because Martinez v Mayweather is NOT the biggest fight of the last 15 years. So it must be something else.

this is interesting, lou dibella from all his recent interviews hasnt mentioned anything about a potential floyd fight and recently said he's spoken to sturm's team regarding a fight next year. I seriously doubt the fight vs floyd will happen. One can hope though.

No fight including Martinez can be considered the biggest fight of the last 15 years, he's not even a great fighter and no one knows who the hell he is....

Unfortunately no fight with Martinez will make it the top fight in the last 15 years unless its a tag team match with Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Cotto.
