This, but still i don't think anyone could convincingly beat him at 160

Hagler earned the right not to have people say that this guy or that guy would have ko'd him.:monoloco:

One of my favorite boxing memories is watching the Mugabi fight, just as Gil Clancy was mentioning "Tim, I really think Mugabi is looking to throw that uppercut," BOOM!!! If Mugabi had set Hagler's head on a tee he couldn't have set it up any better. It caught Hagler right under the chin as flush as any punch could possibly land. It had all the leverage and power and intensity that boxing's hardest puncher could bring to bear, and Hagler's head rolled and snapped as if on a swivel. He literally never even broke stride , taking only a brief moment to clearly sneer the words "F$%k you" to Mugabi before throwing a combination of his own.

Such a super badazz was Hagler. Imagine Mugabi's thoughts as Hagler took that shot. It's the kind of moment that breaks a man.

To stop him? That’s tough, Ketchel could if he caught him, as could Robinson, maybe fullmer, basilio, Tony and Jones, but stopping Hagler is definitely a problem, all these guys have the capability to stop him, but do they have the skills to pull it off? That’s the question

I can't imagine it happening in any normal exchanges for the reasons you all have described so well.
Maybe if Roy Jones landed one of his unorthodox "comes from nowhere" shots that caught MMH by complete surprise.
Other than that, can't even imagine it in my wildest imagination.

Maybe, just maybe he could be KO'd if he drop his hands, closed his eyes, stuck his chin out to be tagged and allowed either Julian Jackson or Gerald McClellan to hit him with their hardest possible punches. It's still not a guarantee though.

The names that popped up instantly were Ketchel , Fitz, Langford, but I'm talking 10 percent chance

I wouldn't bet on anyone to do it. F I'm pinned down and have to pick someone it's going to be Sugar Ray Robinson.
Best hope would be Robinson is gliding around the ring and whips one of those Gene Fullmer type hooks and lands it on The Sweet spot. Maybe that might get a 10-count but who knows I don't think so. There's nobody else who has a prayer.

If you have to bet on a MW KOing Hagler, then you're SOL.

I guess it could happen - caught by a big bomb he didn't see, etc, but under normal circumstances those would be crappy odds. Any of your regular huge hitters getting lucky might do it. Not gonna list names because its pretty much more a matter of luck than anything else.

I don't think it is possible. He had the best chin you could have. Hearns hit him with a punch which should have at least dropped him and it didn't. It was a punch he didn't see and he was rocked but he didn't go down. And Mugabi hit him with a good uppercut.. If you were going to beat Marvin you will beat him by decision.

    No one.
Only two I would really consider Robinson, who although he did have one shot power would have to do it by a sustained beating and late stoppage, so really no.
The only other and he had the freakish power you would probably need to achieve it is Fitzsimmons, but could he land?

And that's the thing; with a guy like Hagler, you're not just talking about one shot. No one shot puts this guy away. I don't see anyone being able to put together the string of punches necessary to put him away.
