Middleweight is a wasteland right now. The three guys that 'could' do it are Lara, Janibek and Eubank. Although I wouldn't actually favour any of them to do it. Janibek on firepower, Lara on craftiness and Eubank on enough pressure to blow out Nunn's tank. That said Janibek is green, Lara is old and Eubank doesn't have Nunn's skills. If Canelo dropped back down to 160 I'd favour him.
Janibek's the only guy I'd give half a chance. Erislandy is old as dirt and his legs are gone, maybe in his prime he'd have a shot of getting a decision based on his awkward Cubaness. Eubank Jr.'s a bum who got sparked by Beefy Smith and couldn't handle an old George Groves, Nunn tears him to shreds. Jermall is technically still a belt holder at 160 but he'd be too inactive and undisciplined to take on a killer like prime Nunn. Hamzah Sheeraz looks promising but hasn't been tested at top-level yet, so we'll have to wait and see. Adames was beat by an old Derev and lost to Patrick Teixeira; Nunn demolishes him.
