The most likely fighter in my opinion would be a prime Chuck Liddell. His height, long reach, fast hands, counter punching ability, granite chin and takedown defense would a terrible match up for Jones.
I'd think Liddell also but I feel like it'd be a Jones decision where he spams oblique kicks. I'd say Rumble, who knows if Jones could take that shot that Cormier took when he fought Rumble.
A peak Wanderlei would be interesting but imo he's too small and would get picked apart from range with teeps, oblique kicks, jabs etc
Jones can be taken out of his comfort zone against rangy fighters with good punching ability as seen in the Gus fight and even at times against OSP. If he can't take Gus down he wouldn't be able to take Liddell down either. And he punches a lot harder and faster than Gus.
Depends on what rules, with Pride Rules, and the enabling of elbows, knees and kicks/soccer kicks Jones could lose to prime Wanderlei, Rampage, Igor Vovchanchyn, Randleman, Liddell, Jardine.
