    Correctme if I'm wrong, but Don King was involed in some capacity in travesties such as Whitaker-Chavez, Tito-DLH, Holy-Lewis I and Holy-Valuev. But what truly controversial verdicts have been rendered during King's time where he hasn't been in any way involved in the fight?

    SNV/DTHH was one of the most recent.

    King tried pull a fast one on the Tyson - Douglas fight result, but as my buddy Texas Boxing Commissioner Dick Cole said at the time:

    "If they do that, then you can stick a fork in the WBC (& King), they are done."

    The WBC? It's the WBA who's in bed with King.

    The WBA did of course blacklist Meyran for his count, after the fight.

    WBC:s Suleiman was pretty thick with King at the time.

    :lol::rofl

    At least there would've been a immediate rematch. :yep

    It pisses me off that Lewis got a immediate rematch against Rahman, but Buster was allowed to avoid Tyson.

    :patsch yeah the big one,,,. Fenech robbed of 4th W.D. Title with a draw against Azumah Nelson. Fenech won all but two rounds. Biggest travesty since the "Long Count".:fire

    Good question. I think he was involved with the Wilfredo Gomez-Rocky Lockridge robbery as well.

    As far as ones he didn't have a stake in I would have to say Pazienza-Haugen I.

    You'll notice that verdicts favoring King's fighters mysteriously spiked when his main meal ticket- Mike Tyson- was incarcerated. Nelson-Fenech was just one of those.

    A related question would be if a robbery ever occured where King's fighter got the short end?

    There's been plenty of none King robberies, he didn't invent the trick and he didn't abuse it much more than many other promoters
