People cried for him to unify the titles. He did that against Ibragimov and Chagaev.

People cried for him to take on a big puncher like David Haye..he did that

People cried for him to take on Alexander Povetkin..he did that

People wanted Wlad to fight number 1 rated Pulev..he did that

People cried for Wlad to take on a skilled heavyweight who is bigger and taller than Wlad. Wlad is now doing that....Tyson Fury

    Next up..unification vs wilder guaranteed

After fury and wilder, there will be no one left, the entire top 10 will have been cleaned out by Wlad.

Wlad takes on all comers...everyone. Even at 40 years of age, Wlad can never be accused of ducking anyone

I disagree. Wlad needs to be retired in the ring by a new, worthy champion. As boxing fans, we will wait until somebody new beats the 'man' and that's still Wlad.

If Wlad retired now it would destroy lineage. That's not what we boxing fans want :deal

To fight a HOFer, but sadly his era is full of terrible HW, that's why he'll never go down as being even close to the best HW of all time. Of course the fanboys think otherwise though.

Is Ray Mercer going to make the HOF? I know that's not what you meant in context 'cause Mercer was like 45? just putting it out there.

When I say HOF I mean someone that actually deserves it based on talent and wins, not exciting fights for example like Gatti. Mercer doesnt deserve to be HOF in my opinion, so even if Wlad did beat him in his prime, it wouldnt do me justice. He had plenty of great wins, but at the end of the day in my book you can't be a HOF unless you beat the upper echelon of opposition in your era, guys liek Bowe, Lewis, Tyson, and Holyfield, or a whole lot more wins similar to the Morrison one, like wins over Ruddock etc.. The guy lost to a nearly mid 40's Holmes in his prime years.

Also Byrd might make the HOF too though I wouldn't put him in mine, but he's not a true HW, the guy is tiny.

I agree with all that. I was looking through Wlad's resume and trying to find someone he beat that would make the HOF is all.

Povetkin is a hof candidate and Wlad defeated him in his prime. Byrd is borderline and Wlad bested him twice.

:good, like i said though, he can't be put to blame for not fighting a HOF because there simply wasn't a true HOF in his prime besides his brother, and maybe an older lewis. He's definitely a HOFER, but not an ATG.

Who did Byrd beat to be a Hofer? If you count Vitali's shoulder injury taht does boost it up a lot. But what else has he done to be a HOF? Not to mention the guy is a natural cruiser. He's tiny for a heavyweight, and never carried that much power.

What makes Povetkin a hof? He has good wins, but no way is it a HOF caliber career, if that's the case your standard of HOf is incredibly low.
