If he fights Fury and Wilder, I don't think there is really anything left to prove. I'm not saying he would retire then, but he would have fought any realistic challenge that there is to him at that point.
and yet every other era has its hofers and atgs. this one hasn't got them. why not notice? how dumb do you need to be not to see you've been conned after all these years.
Wladimir Klitschko, a legend. He has beaten several fighters from 3 or 4 generations, since freakin Axel Schulz and Frans Botha until recently Jennings and Pulev. Only Joe Louis has a longer reign and more defenses. Wlad's unbeaten streak (11 years) is longer than the careers of some all time greats.
atsch Because there aren't any Americans or Brits It is going to be difficult for Easterners to make any HOF or ATG list due to nationalism, The current heavyweight scene would be much more competitive without having one dominant master at top, like king Klitschko, the Klitschko's were so dominant that nobody else was able to win the belts off of them, thus preventing them from being world champions. Furthermore currently there not being any HOF in Wlad's resume says NOTHING about the skill levels of his opponents. The skill levels of Wlad's opponents blow every pre 90's era fighters/ATG's/HOF's out the water. I am sure some of Wlad's opponents will make HOF in the future. It is easier to appreciate talent when they retire. :good
that this is the first time in history, k bro time, when a retired shot failure from the previous era was near able to become undisputed hw world champ. and the retiring 38 year old hw champ tore the head off the other prime K bro. so dominant.
so one moment you are sre they wont make Hof, the next moment in the same post you think they WILL. consistency. yup, I wont be waiting.
80 percent of them are American though and Westerner :hey Vitali was ahead on the score cards until he got cut, Vitali wins 9/10 times they fight. Nobody has any special cutting abilities, even Foreman was suspect Vitali was cut with Lewis's laces. In the future people will be more accepting of former Soviet fighters, but it is true, the Klitschko's prevented anyone else of being a title holder, thus they will go about their career never having won a belt. You are very delusional and spontaneous Skill wise-this generation > any pre 90's era :good
course, that's less than you expect given the late iron curtain call. do you expect it to be dominated by countries that didn't box pro until the 1990s? tkoed in 6, but given that you think the facts are then I can see why you cant see the facts.
In the future former Soviet fighters will be more accepted and appreciated, thus making it easier for them to make the HOF :good Vitali never been behind on the score cards :good Andrew Golata probably would have been number one in the 50's :smoke
true, they'll do better and already are. yup, like several rocky Marciano opponents who end up koed. shame vits gets the shyte ****d out of him then.
Briggs beat him in what MOST consider a robbery at 45. Lewis potshotted, held and ran from him to a UD at 38. Wlad beat the living shiit out of him at 41. & yeah, Mercer could sneak in. Byrd is a lock. Potvetkin will get in, as will Haye. Fury???? Might make the top 15 before the book is closed.
Agreed, been saying it for years. I really hope he can last 3 more years and rack up several more defences to takes Louis' records.
