Am I supposed to be impressed? Beating those two TOMATO CANs is not nearly enough to get Povetkin into the HOF. Not even close...
How about Rahman? He drew with James Toney, knocked out Lennox Lewis, Drew with Tua, the first Tua match had to be a disqualification. Adamek would have been the first Polish Heavyweight champion if only he was not fighting a Klitschko :-(
Sure, Adamek will probably get in the HOF - but not based on his body of work @ HW. Chagaev isn't HOF worthy. Not even close..
This moron thinks a 38 year old Lewis pot shotted and ran against Ray Mercer:rofl:nut Povetkin a hall of famer??? hahahatsch
He will get nowhere near the HOF. He got shut completely out by Dawson and Dawson ain't no hall of famer either.
I dunno, he crushed an atg, that sometimes gets you in. sadly he got crushed on the way out too, bit of a revolving door hofer. facing a near 40something hofer doesn't qualify for fighting a hofer, sorry, kliturds.
Umm no he didn't although he lost clearly(there was a KD late in the fight idiot boy). Apply that same logic to Lennox's two KO losses. Does he not deserve to get in now? That's what I thought!
A little reality check here. Some fighters who did not make the HOF: Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Henry Maske, Sven Ottke. That's quite a serious benchmark. Wach won't make the HOF. Ever.
So you're saying for the past 15 years there hasn't been any great HW fighters? All of the other decades had great fighters, but from 2000-2015 there weren't any. Go back to talking about Floyd. At least you know a little bit about what you are talking about there.
The only HWs to have fought in the last 15 years who are a lock for the HOF are; Lewis Holyfield Tyson V Klit W Klit Welcome to modern HW boxing...
As you know the IBHOF has always been a bit biased towards HWs. I could see Byrd get the nod, Rahman I don't think so. Really also depends on who else in the ballot if Byrd ever gets on it. He's been retired what 6-7 years now?
