to prove himself to Yankee fight fans?

We have just seen the aging Welsh warrior dismantle the young gun usurper, Kessler who has cut a swathe through the Super Middleweight Ranks.:bbb

FFS! Kessler has only lost 2 rounds in his entire Professional career

And still they diss Joe...... still they doubt (not all)

I have given up reading the General Forum in disgust.

What is it with these people?

We have witnessed a truly great match up of 2 great fighters and still Joe is not commanding the respect he deserves.

It's an attitude I have difficulty in coming to terms with.:blood

Youre delusional and paranoid. What have you read one comment on a message board from an American and think Calzaghe gets no respect from Yanks? Grow up.

He lost 2 rounds against Anthony Mundine..... and to my knowledge, until Kessler fought Calzaghe..... That was it.

Kessler is a great fighter..... But he was defeated by an even greater fighter. :good

**** anyone who doesn't believe in him now. He proved himself as the best 168 pounder to ever do it. Pavlik at 168 after the Taylor rematch or X at 175, then retire.

There's not a chance in hell that Calzaghe will be fighting on anyone's undercard nevermind a Hatton undercard.

Calzaghe has nothing left to prove. There are still a few jokers/haters but they are being swamped by the vast majority now who appreciate Calzaghe for what he is:

    - The best super middleweight in the world and possibly of all time (top 3)
    - One of the best boxers in the world pound for pound (top 5).
    - One of the best British boxers of all time (top 3)

I don't know enough about British Boxing to agree with No.3 ..... but I certainly agree with your first 2 assessments.

On reflection though...... it would be hard to argue against No3 on the balance of probabilities. :deal

Oh, okay, joint top of the bill with hatton De La Hoya.

As for "any chance in hell" - money talks and 80,000 people with golden boy backing in wembly would get any fighter there.
