Nothing more to me at least........ He beat my man Kessler that was enough :bbb but then again I'm Danish
It's unbelievable how many of the US posters still won't believe in him! I watched the Setanta coverage of the fight, and it wasn't until the end when that yank who is representing Kessler in the US spoke during Kessler's post-fight interview that I realised why I had enjoyed the fight so much - there wasn't one ****ing loudmouthed yank through the whole thing until that point! Sure, the UK commentators were pro-Calzaghe, but not as bad as some US announcers are. Both fighters were respectful to each other and humble in victory/defeat, there was no chest-thumping, no bull**** claims, no arrogance, it was a classy affair all around. Then that seppo started big-upping it trying to get attention :-(
To be honest Joe could retire now and his legacy would be cemented.Im not a fan of him in the slightest and im still pissed at the way he wrapped his career in cotton wool for sooo long. But the facts remain his won ALL recognised titles at 68 and his status as the best at 68 is undisputed.
