    Ok

Now i was noticing over in the best asian fighter of all time thread that whenever manny gets brought up as possibly the best asian fighter that ever lived, someone always mentions fighting harada. Now thats fair enough, Harada was a very, very good fighter who gave our own lionel rose (I'm australian) one hell of a scrap.

My question is to all who think fighting harda is the best asian fighter of all time what must manny do to surpass him as the best asian fighter ever This isn't an attack my any means, I'm just curious as to what you would have him do or who you would have him beat to be considered the best.

hmmm... good question... if he was able to unify the lightweight division then he surpasses harada...

although some of us speculate that he already did.. i respect their opinion and i'm not gonna pretend that i'm an expert and tell them they are wrong:rasta

i will just wait till sweet pea replies in this thread.. he is an expert when it comes to this..

Though Im not entirely familiar with Harada's entire record, I think he is vastly underrated here. Unless Floyd came out of retirement and Manny beat him, he'll never have a fighter as good as Jofre on his record. But Manny has done quite a bit with wins over MAB, JMM and Morales. Is that good enough? Im not sure. The real question is.....are either of them as good as Pancho Villa? :hey

Nothing. There's nothing he can do to surpass Harada. Even if Pacquaio beats Hatton, Cotto and Pavlik in succesion . . . Harada is still above him. :yep

    Why? Ask the Haters.

 :rofl  :rofl  :rofl  :rofl

Retire...and let time pass. It's just how sports are. Harada is underrated by Pacquiao fans though....most have never seen him. So that is also a fair statement.

He needs to do what every one of his fans seems to think he's capable of, which is unifying at LW, given that he would hold another big win over Guzman or Campbell and possibly a legit win over JMM(as I don't consider him to hold a victory over JMM at this point). If he does that, their resumes are comparable, and Pac's P4P rating goes up, seeing as how a natural FW was able to unify at LW against good competition. A lot of people see him as capable of doing this(not myself), so it shouldn't be that big a chore to ask.

Fans will say he rates above Harada now for winning a title at LW without comparing the competition. Harada was a much smaller fighter naturally than Pacquiao(natural at Flyweight) yet still fought up to Featherweight, where, according to most accounts, he was robbed of winning another belt against Johnny Famechon, though I've not seen the fight for myself.

I still have Harada ahead, but Manny isnt far off as many people seem to think he is. Frankly I think all Pacman needs to do is beat Hatton or win linealship/megachamp at 135 and he surpasses him.

Who cares about the haters of pacman. He is already considered by many and the boxing experts as the greatest asian boxer.

    **** THE HATERS!

They are still savoring the pain pac gave to them when he beats their idols.

Pacman doesnt have to do anything he surpassed Him by beating three future HOFers.

To all the Haters i say get over it.

Pacman is a force and thats all there is to say about that.

Let them all keep trying to tell you Harada is better but its as siple as Pacman is still only 29 and mate he is by far superior to Harada.
