Explain: Harada's resume: Wins over Eder Jofre X2(slightly past prime), Jose Medel, Pone Kingpetch(according to most accounts, he won both matches), Johnny Famechon(another robbery toward the tail end of Harada's career when well past his best weight, which would've given him titles at Flyweight, Bantamweight, and Featherweight), Hiroyuki Ebihara, Bernardo Caraballo, Dwight Hawkins, Katsutoshi Aoki, Alan Rudkin, etc. Pacquiao's resume: Wins over Marco Antonio Barrera X2(past prime), Erik Morales X2(past prime), Juan Manuel Marquez(not in my book and many others), David Diaz, Jorge Solis, Oscar Larios, Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, Chatchai Sasakul, etc. If he can do that, then I would agree. Then it should be no problem asking it of him. If he surpasses Jones he'd be top 25 of all time. Greatness is based on more than resume, even if it is a big part. He'd be top 30 of all time if he did all that though, that would be very impressive. I don't personally see it happening though.
pac probably overtakes harada if he unifies LW with a win against campbell. the campbell-guzman fight is already scheduled but still not signed. there is still a chance that pac may fight campbell this nov.
First of all, thanks for NOT answering or trying to counter any of the issues I brought up. Anyhow, yes PacMan was beating champs; however, who actually was a dangerous opponent that Barrera or Morales wouldn't have knocked out in their heyday? Only name that stands out is Jorge Eliecer Julio. Others are names of champs who are good, but I wouldn't say are great champs. Big difference. PacMan fought MAB after MAB had already had two hellacious battles with Morales. Not to mention the other battles he already had. Plus, PacMan couldn't replicate what he did to MAB a few years later. Why not? At this point, it leads to questions of "what if"? Anyhow, if you know boxing, you know MAB and Morales weren't the same fighters. However, if you want to give him full credit, do so. It's your perogative. Mine is not too. PacMan was beaten by JMM in both fights. End of story. Be happy that the judges in the second fight weren't paying attention. If you have been watching boxing long enough, you know that sometimes the winner doesn't always get the decision. Futhermore, boxing is judged for a full 12 rounds. Unless a fighter is knocked out. You seem to be the only one to think that Diaz was actually a great fighter and champ, and who actually stood a great chance of beating PacMan. Diaz was a guy who happened to be a paper champ that was very fortunate to be holding a belt. Nothing more, nothing less. The only way we would ever know if PacMan was as great as everyone says he is would be to have him fight a prime Morales, Barrera, or JMM. Then and only then would we know if he is truly a great fighter or someone who came up at the right time. I prefer to say he is a damn good fighter who came in at the right time and took care of business. But to overlook the age, wear and tear factor, and other issues is downright nuthugging. I'll end it like this. PacMan will soon start battling Father Time. Pretty soon another young, fresh, champ will be on his way up wanting to fight PacMan. With all the wars and his age, PacMan will sooner or later be ripe for the picking. It happens to EVERY fighter.
what the **** is sooooo special with harada? really...guys like you **** me off.. prime your ass.. you just use any excuse in boxing history and **** to discredit pac resume wise harada could be better but if i am convinced in a mythical match-up pac beats him imo
this is the current debate right now.. it will never end PAC MUST ALSO KTFO ANY MYTHICAL BEAST ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD TO SURPASS HARADA
Goodness sake, that means Pac hasn't done *&$% in his career. If you discredit wins against MAB, EM, and JMM, that means he has done nothing at all.
great match up. will cement his status as atg he also needs to beat ultraman, son goku, and majin buu and to even be mentioned on same breath as harada
