    Talking of Giardello, I like his early fights from 1954. vs. Panther, Cartier, Troy.
    He was actually rated #1 contender for that year but didn't get a shot. He was a high-ranked contender for about 11 or 12 years before he got a title shot. Very underrated fighter.
