Legendary Nights has to be about the biggest fighters. Or fights that were exciting, were something weird happened (ex. Bowe-Golota).

I think that the new LN should be:

    -Mayweather/Hatton
    -Corrales/Castillo (that's Showtime, though)
    -Mayweather/De la Hoya
    -Hopkins/Trinidad
    -Cotto/Margarito
    -Pacquiao/Morales
    -Pacquiao/Marquez
    -Vasquez/Marquez
    -Trinidad/Vargas
    -DLH/Vargas

    Trinidad-Vargas, Hopkins-Trinidad, DLH-Vargas, Pacquiao-Morales, Mayweather-Hatton.

Unfortunately, HBO would probably say or imply something and the boxing forum geniuses would totally run away with it and misinterpret it like they did numerous times with the other episodes.

I almost dislike this show because of the nonsense people come up on message boards after watching these episodes.

I'd love for HBO to do the tale of Trinidad-DLH, with the focus on why a rematch never materialized.......

.....Imo, HBO wont do it though, at least they wont focus on why a rematch never came about. It would make DLH look like the greediest turd on the planet!!!:yep

    ......or have the done it?

Klitschko-Lewis would be great I think. There's an interesting story leading up to the fight.. Klitschko living with the torment of people calling him heartless or a quitter. Lewis coming off the biggest win of his career and universal stardom. I think everyone will agree that there was plenty of drama in the fight itself, and an outcome which people still talk about to this day. Hell how many " Who would've knocked out who " threads have shown up on this board alone?

They should do a show called : Classic Legendary Nights and have todays announcers analyze classic fights from the 1900's to the 1990's and interview who ever is still alive

I'm pretty sure they did that already.

Keek in mind that what happens before the fight and after is just if not more important then the fight itself and because of this I'd like to see Hopkins-Trinidad since I think it's the complete package.

    -Final of the middleweight tournament.
-the fight took place at MSG just a couple weeks after 9/11 and was delayed prior to this because of what happened.
-US vs Puerto Rico and the flag stomping incident.
-Trinidad was the #1 pound for pound fighter looking to capture the middleweight division and eventually meet up with RJJ vs Hopkins who was still looking for proper recognition.
-The fight was an upset and ended in KO fashion.
