Will he grapple and hit with the best a la Bika? (I think he will need to!) Will he grab and hold as Joe comes in, after the left jab? Will he hit Joe back over the back of the head if Joe hits him, in the holds? Will he keep his head down, moving forward at an angle as Joe does when fighting inside? Will he take the flurries without stepping back, push Joe away with the jab, grab and hold and hit?

What do you think? What are you hoping? What NEW thing should/will Mikkel bring to the table against Joe?

JC will try and grab and hold like he usually does, so he can wild swing and down his opponent. Kesslers job is to avoid the stupidities of JCs former opponents.

So hit and move, hit and move. One-two. Jab, jab, jab, Straight right, left hook, jab and move. All night...

This way JC will be frustrated and make mistakes he usually does, when things doesnt work. And then Bam - TKO 9th round... Enjoy the fight by my side, Decebal - we are gonna have a blast. CHJ, Gabby and Amsterdam are gonna take comfort in a new favorite.

This is what he has been doing so far...he might do it better, but when Joe snakes in past that jab and goes in...and, allright, grabs and holds, what will Kessler do? We haven't seen Kessler grapple, hold and hit yet...won't he have to do any of that?

 I hope Kessler will not let you down! I am sure to enjoy it a lot especially if Mikkel is at his very best! We will have a great time!:good

    :think...they are all very fair-minded!:yep

    :good

Then he will push JC away from him to gain enough distance for the one-two punches. He knows that this is JCs weaponry to get inclose, and this is where JC is the most dangerous, and a situation, Kessler always avoids with any fighter, since anything can happen in the pocket. If, JC won't move, then we got a clinch, but I doubt that will happen much - move like anticipation from Kessler, and jump back or push, or circle right.

He won't let us down. If he can't win, its because, JC fights smarter, and made his gameplan work. JC is an out-of-this-world fighter.

Yes, they are, so therefore they will welcome the Viking with open arms...

Push Joe away? Don't think it would work...only way to go about it is what Bika does - hug back and then some!

Joe is amazing! If Kessler fights the fight of his life, but still loses, there would be no shame at all in that; instead, there will be much pride from all his supporters!:good

    :D

If he can't push him back, he would be thrusted backwards and gain the distance needed. Kessler is agile, and light on toe. No matter what - Kessler will not stand still and trade or be reduced to a punching bag like most of JCs opponents...

If Kessler fights the fight of his life, there is no way he is gonna lose, no matter how godly JC will be. JC is a godly fighter - Kessler is a godly boxer. Having said this, if JC wins justfully, then he should be praised as the best SMW ever or at least on par with RJJ.

He doesn't need anything new. He already has the tools to take out Joe. Good jab neutralizes speed, and the straight right's a southpaw killer.

What he needs is to do as you say and tie him up, either that or make sure he's always punching when he is being punched at while utilising lateral movement. His biggest weakness is when he backs straight up he seems to lose vision of what's coming at him, he really showed it against mundine and to a certain extent against Andrade, he really can't afford to do it against someone who throws as many punches as Calzaghe does with speed.

I very much hope you are right! But...they all say he slaps and nothing more; they all say they will not trade with Joe on the inside, and they all do and lose badly, except for Bika, who is just different!
