It's funny that the Jones-Tito fight have people buzzing more than I would have thought. Maybe we're in for a decent fight. Or one sided beating.
Tito has nothing left, he is less than a shell of his former self. Winky ripped his heart out and jabbed it across the ring. He's coming back for the adulation, he misses the spotlight but Jones will take him apart. I don't think Jones will knock him out, but will instead settle for dispatching a boxing lesson to Trinidad.
Even at this stage roy jones will outclass tito and probaly ko him also, roy will be too big and too skilled for tito.
This fight has me wondering. I know Tito has more left than Jones. The only question is exactly how much naturally better, quicker and stronger Jones is to where his decline would effect the outcome. If Tito comes motivated he could very well make it interesting. Jones looks reeaaaally frigg'n old, and yeah he still has very quick hands, but he also lays back alot and has lost his fire to finish. The more I think about this fight, the less confident I am that Jones dominates him. Whats next for the winner? If Tito wins -- I would challenge Taylor. If Jones wins -- I would challenge Taylor. This is given Taylor gets by Pavlik though.....which he most likely won't.
With both of these guys beyond shot, the future for both looks bleak regardless of who survives. This isn't really an interesting fight because the winner just goes on to a potential beating against a live body. Personally, I'd love to see Roy get ktfo again because he does it so well, stiffening up, falling flat on his back, shaking, eyes rolling up , and taking a long woozy recovery time. Its always fun to watch a lip flapper get shut up, maybe this time for the last time.
I don't see Tito winning this fight - but if he does - I would say Taylor or Calzaghe - if either wins their fight. Tito is only going after big names - too bad he loses to Jones.
