I know he lost, but I'm sure most of the posters on here are appreciative of Acosta performance and the part he played in a great fight and he sure still has alot to offer in the LW division. Who would you put Acosta in with next? And who do you think he could beat?
if he isnt damaged from the KO i could see him beating sotto, antillion in a rematch, katsidis, vasquez not sure how he'd do against linares and guerraro, marquez would beat him down IMO but who would want a part of him, he only fought once last year and that was against a journeymen ppl in the devision have an excuse to duck him. the linares fight for him makes sense it determines who the no.1 Venezuelan is at the weight
Retire, that fight would take out a lot from anybody... He received punishment throughout the whole fight and that in unrecoverable.
Yeah, would be a massive shame if that was the last we seen of Acosta. I did forget that he was taken off on a stretcher as well.
