Golovkin wants to fight Saunders and has for a long time. He wants the WBO title, he will knock Saunders out. Golovkin wants the rematch in Dec., but Alvarez wants to wait until May or even Sept., Oscar wants the rematch in Texas, with Lawrence Cole as the referee, three Mexican judges that are Alvarez' fans and then there is the Texas boxing commission, which is more corrupt than Vegas, Cole's father was the boxing commissioner there. Extremely corrupt! Golovkin should not fight in Texas, he will get robbed again, only worse.
He's not a huge fan of Saunders at all. He just absolutely hero worships Chris Eubank jnr and therefore his agenda is to try and make Saunders out to be better than he is so that the fact that his hero lost to him looks better. Realistically, Saunders is probably just about top 5 based on accomplishments, but he is not at the level of elites like GGG, Canelo and Jacobs. I wouldn't mind seeing Golovkin take him on to complete unification of the division if Canelo and Delahoya are dragging their feet over the rematch. But realistically, the fight everyone wants to see is GGG and Canelo resolve their unfinished business.
This. @james5000 should rename himself "Chris Eubank's Butt Plug" He's even making threads now on fighters who Eubank has fought in an effort to try and praise them to make Eubank look better than what he is. The WBSS is going to be a very humbling experience indeed.
Golovkin should just try to make the Saunders fight in December. If Canelo wants to wait until May for the rematch it's fine but Golovkin should make the Saunders fight in between.
Why doesn't GGG just fight Saunders???? We can talk all day about Saunders ducking in the past but Saunders did sign the contract last time and GGG didn't. It also happened to be GGGs own contract with everything in his favour. Eubank Jr has a great chance in WBSuperSeries, there are plenty of other fighters with great chances too it's a quality field. You and the many on here have been calling Jr a bum for years and said he had no chance at British level. You were never humbled you just deflected, I would not deflect but your damn sure I won't be humbled if he loses. I will still be chasing that GGG fight, GGG is an easy fight for Jr. GGG is the same size as Jr and he's in decline, he is slowing up and the gas tank has a hole in it. The likes of Smith and Yildirim are natural light heavyweights, actually if they were @ 175 they would give up size to no-one. They are also prime and peaking, they are much harder fights than GGG. Groves is an easy fight for Jr, he's not particularly big, he's probably past prime despite his age and he doesn't have good stamina or punch resistance.
Probably fight someone **** so he can keep the belt for one more fight to get the big payday against the winner of golovkin-canelo
