Why do fighters set premature retirement dates only to go back on them later on?

My guess after Fury (win) would be, Wlad (loss) then back to domestics to fight Price/Fury

 

It certainly seems as if the winner of thsi fight is going to fight Wlad. I for one hope not as both chancers will get dicked, especially Fury!

I'd like to see a domestic figth for the winner against Haye but it'll never happen.

A move to America could be advisable, fight some top 10's then head over to Germany and take on Wlad should they remain undefeated but again I doubt that'll happen.

I agree mate but do to the British publics demand for that shot at the big time I feel this will happen sooner than it should.

There is plenty of European level fighters out there for these two to take on but due to greed they will get overlooked for the one big money maker. Can't blame them mind you. Why risk your 0 against a unknown when you can risk it against the best and get paid treble/quadruple for your efforts.

 

Klitschko will be 1/8 Vs. Chisora and 1/10 against Fury haha

 

They could get a Klitschko fight which would be a farce.

I'd love to see Fury in with Wlad, the fat c##t wouldn't know what the **** is happening and would be blown away inside 6 IMO.
