i agree with those that think he will be a avid gatekeeper. i think he prolly hs one more eliminator b out left in him and if he can win that he can get somewhere. but can he reach the mountain is the question. its lookin a bit unlinkely right now
If looking at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYFSgroPs_o&feature=related I don't see all this "how easily Ward has beaten him". Ward had a surprise for Miranda in that constant holding and pushing, which Miranda did not have enough skill against to counter that approach. But it would have been a hard thing to overcome for ANY fighter, just ask the Ruiz victims who couldn't overcome the clutch style. And Ward did not look too stellar himself, it's not like he landed on Miranda at will beating him up. He may have been outfoxing him with that mud wrestling style, but that's it.
God, no! No! Unfortunatly according to this article the case against Miranda using an illegal substance in his corner is an "open and shut case". http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-article/6834/edison-miranda-ropes/
I think Miranda is shot. I watched him against Vegas and he was getting hit too much and he looked like he had lost a step. Im yet to watch the Ward fight, but if you say Ward beat him easy, it does not surprise me that much. I think he is close to done as a top contender.
Illegal coagulant? WTF? Was Miranda even cut or bleeding? Would Miranda even know what they were putting on him?
i still remember when he punched david banks out of the ring tho......ha ha khans was better tho...lol
Miranda will now become a gatekeeper for young up n comers. He should fight Adonis Stevenson next in a nice brawl in Montreal.
