There must have been more than a small misunderstanding prior to the fight imo.. walking away when your fighter hits the canvas...not good
is there still no information on the supposed fall-out between him and Hatton? and i'm not really sure what next for him. to be honest i never considered him to really be as good as his hype suggested, but at the same time i don't blame him for what happened to Hatton
there is no point in having a trainer if you arent going to trust his prep and philosophy 100% hatton did exactly what he was told not to do. i dunno what sr is going to do but im sure we havent heard the last of him
Who cares? Hopefully other major fighters don't hire this clown. He's about the most overrated trainer out there.
haha roach should tell him there is room at the wild card for someone to wipe down bags and carry spit buckets
i dont really see how its Snr's fault that Hatton sucks, and reverted back to his same old tactics as soon as the bell rang. Hatton is garbage, always has been. He doesnt belong in the ring with the best. He should have lost every fight he ever had above 140, and his only good win was against Tszyu. Hopefully, I thought the Hatton fans would finally accept that Hatton never had it. But now they just blame the trainer. Oh well, for all those not blinded by there national pride, i think Hatton was rightfully "exposed".
Bullsh!t. Mayweather's training and fight plan as described and witnessed on 24/7 was totally ignored by Hatton. Maybe Floyd Sr walked away in disgust?
Beard said... "He's made a stack of money. He mentioned the fans and it really hurts him because he fights for the fans," he added. "They came out in their thousands again for him and I think that affects him mentally, it hurts him. "But it's all about what he wants to do, don't carry on fighting for the fans. You've got to think of your health as well. "He got caught with some big shots in there and maybe if it had gone six or eight rounds there would have been more wear and tear. But he got caught early, it was only the second round and he got hurt a few times before then." And Beard denied there was any rift with Mayweather Snr prior to the fight, adding: "Me and Floyd were laughing and joking beforehand - there's no problems at all. "There have been rumours to stir up the camp, but there's no problems between me and him. "Ricky drifted from the game plan - he turned it into a brawl and got caught." http://www.skysports.com/hatton/stor...274070,00.html
