Most likely Fury will get stopped by Wilder, will be a good cash out fight, but what next for him after that, retirement? Or maybe another cash out fight with AJ
retirement but he isn't going to get stopped he is going to school Wilder out of the building and stink the joint out with boxing finness and make wilder quit and beg for a rematch
If anyones taking cash outs its wilder... That's why he took the Fury fight with 2 guaranteed fights instead of losing one fight and becoming the FORMER champion to Joshua ,something that will likely happen after Dec. 1st but he gets another fight .
2 year break, second comeback, Wilder (who's also been stopped and had an 18 month break) rematch. Winner tries to talk their way into an eliminator against one of the top contenders (Usyk, Hrgovic, Ajagba, etc.) After one more loss ... final cash out fight against Junlong Zhang in Macao. I hope this isn't the case, I'd prefer to see Fury/Wilder in good form making things interesting, but there's every chance that once Fury/Wilder lose their 0 their aura will fade and attention will turn to the up comers.
I wouldn't be so sure that Fury most likely gets stopped. Stiverne proved in the first fight that Wilder's straight right can be neutralized with check hooks and counter rights kept Wilder from being able to get in proper position to get leverage on his punches. Stiverne's only problem was that he had no answer for Wilder's jab and got outpointed. If Fury comes in around 245-250 I can see him also neutralizing Wilder's power very early, but unlike Stiverne Fury will have an answer for Wilder's jab. Also, Ortiz showed that Wilder is very weak on the inside like Wlad was, so this could also play into Fury's hands, since Fury when he's in good shape can punch from all angles. However, Wilder does have Russ Anber in his corner, so I'm sure he's developing some time of back up plan for when Fury neutralizes Wilder's best tools, since Anber also expected Wilder to go the distance with Stiverne in their first fight.
I can see the both of them, playing Scrabble in the sun, blankets over their shoulders and milk and cookies next to the board.
If he gets stopped I don't think we see him ever again (like, not even at the post fight presser, lol)
Fury-Stiverne/Browne/Miller to rebound if not he should just Retire again. Meh, I'd imagine him being a mix of retired Hamed/John Candy.
I expect that to happen and only hearing from him on twitter. Probably questioning the legality of the fightending punch or the stoppage itself, while blowing up to 350lbs A comeback in 2 or 3 years time certainly not out of the question, fighting way below par opposition while claiming the current beltholders or champion are bums.
Probably retires if he loses and if he makes enough money to do so. This could just be a cash out from Fury, he quit after beating Wlad because he clearly, after reaching the summit, just wanted out of the game. He maybe only came back for a payday after using all his money in the legal battle with UKAD.
