Martin Rogan is the Irish Rocky Balboa, constantly beating the odds now if David Haye cannot get a fight with the Klit sisters, Rogan is an ideal replacement as it will generate a ton of hype and is possible PPV material (with a good undercard) if that cannot be made Sosnowski I am sure is up for it, after schooling Danny Williams there is no-one really left to fight.

Tyson Fury as mentioned in ITV4's commentary id in a catch-22, he wants to fight the best and has the ability too. However, after only 3 fights no-one will touch him, Hopefully they will ship Auldley Harrison in for a 10 round laugh fest, but one can dream.

Thaxton should retire or fight Limond (as no doubt it will be a tear up):bbb

Fury will fight some European that no one has heard of, Oh with lots of body hair. Rogan should fight, well maybe look at the European scene, apart from Haye, there is no one in Britain to fight him.

Thaxton should have a rematch with the french guy on the undercard of Froch Taylor! If not John Murray.

    Thaxton should retire.

Rogan should fight Kevin Johnson. He would win and it would give him some name value in the states. There are a lot of average American heavyweights kicking around and taking a couple of those might well be a much quicker route to a big fight than trying to go through the mass of Eastern European contenders.

Fury should fight Lee Swaby or someone like that.

    2 things:

    1) That fight would NEVER happen.
    2) Johnson would beat Rogan IMO.

Anyone else think Thaxton in now in his prime for Frank Warren to make a match up after Barrera?

Khan would CRUSH Thaxton, so I don't want to see it. But if Thaxton doesn't retire, then I can see him taking it for the money Warren may give him.

In a way, this is what Thaxton deserves though. NEVER get high and mighty about owning a title, and therefore being out of someone's league.

Warren might match Khan with the new Euro champ, win or lose against Barrera.

That's an even better idea for Khan. It's falling into place nicely :-(

Thanxton had matey on ***** street in the first round. How he managed to lose I can't understand. Maybe he should retire, though he still has the power to stop Khan, maybe it would be a good test for the youngster regardless of what happens in the Barrera fight???

Or a rematch with Messarche? Still unfinished business with John Murray, we all want to see that fight.

nah jono should fight limond next, then be the 2nd guy to knock kahn out (kahn aint got the heart or the chin to keep jono off) and take his place for a title shot, maybe facing murray in a eliminator for a title shot, as he's definately more deserving of a shot than kahn. yeah he had mezarche on ***** street, but the frenchmans sly, quick thinking tactics saved him. i don't aprove but what you gonna do, the ref deducted a point and was right to do so, leaving no point in jono arguing or complaining, and he's too much of a pro to do so anyhow. it was a good fight but a poor decision, i think it should have gone jono's way. it was too close for jono to have lost his title like that and i'd like to see them do it again at some point, but i can't really see mezarche wanting to know, no matter what he said after the fight. as for rogan he's not ready for haye yet, and that fight coming so soon could ruin his future potential. rogan v swaby could be good. tyson fury, best british prospect? i just dont see it. i'd like to see him in with audley harrison (though i dont rate him either), then matt skelton maybe, then sling him in with rogan to see what happens.
