A confidence building fight that is, not trainer.

Hard one with DeGale. Depends on whether you think he should come back as quick as possible against a donkey on an undercard somewhere or take abit of time and fight a Quigley or an Anderson in an eliminator in the Autumn. Groves calibre of fight will depend on what happens with Haye I reckon. I think Booth has realised he has to train Groves relentlessly before fights and cant juggle the both of them. Maybe another undercard fight in America on a GoldenBoy promotion before defending his titles a month to 6weeks after Haye vs Klitshcko II in September or whether it is if he beats the first brother.

I'd say it'll be September at the earliest before Groves' cuts heal. Really think he benifited from US sparring & wont be ready for that for months.

DeGale will need about 4 months too.

Mate that's four months away, 1/3 of a whole year? For cut skin?

I split my leg two weeks ago and it's healed.

get himself to america, get a decent trainer, real people who will improve him, smooth over his weakneses.

he will be humbled and more serious if he is strong enough to want to suceed.

i do think degale is good, but i hated how hyped up he was,i saw his pawing, his dirty tricks, his soft match made easy ish opponents,i didnt buy all the hype.

both groves and degale are good, but groves had the better training and mindset to train and work the gameplan.

    Hell no!

I think the rematch(es) should be milked to within an inch of their lives.

I'd be happy for them to move on towards world level before they fight again.

With Paul Smith's chat pre & post fight, I think this can be made. If the money is right I think it'll happen.

I do think it'll take about 6 months for Groves to come back. The eye gash looked quite wide & they gotta make sure it heals. At 23 they gotta look after him & no need to rush him back. The undercard of Haye's fight after Klitchko would be perfect.

I think DeGale has had 11 fights and Groves has had 13. Why would you expect them to be world class now? They're babies and neither are anywhere near the finished article.

DeGale will fight Robert Stieglitz next for the WBO strap, for the reasons...

    • Fwank won't get the rematch he wants and in spite, will get DeGale amongst the World titles, before Groves.
    • This will shut Groves out of the World title scene as he is not ready to face any of the other title holders.
    • Fwank is a w*nker, and hates the Dark Lord's :)stir :fire) guts.
    • All FW/DeFail live for now is getting one over Team Hayemaker.
Groves will most likely fight for the EBU title against Piotr Wilczewski beacause...

    • Adam Booth wants a textbook progression for Groves, before claiming a World title and then unifying the division. (Heard him say this before)
    • Groves has said he wants to "move on to bigger and better things". i.e. not another domestic fight.
    • Adam Booth is not a petty, whinging c*cksucker like his nemesis, Fwank.
Having said this, I reckon at this stage, Groves could beat someone like Arthur Abraham. Would turn out similar to the Froch-Abraham fight IMO. Groves would be in top 10, look good and get international exposure. Plus Hayemaker have a good relationship with Sauerland Events. Definitely should be considered at some stage.

    Anyway, we'll see.

More or less agree with this. Warren will try to bring DeGale on in the same way as Khan now, couple of tune ups then the weakest champion he can get.
