What next for Hopkins?

I say he fights DollarbillHoya.

DLH will just be coming off from a win against Pac and they could make all the money A) because of their name and B) because its all inside money going to GBP.
Just from the financial aspect of it all.

As for cementing his legacy. If Jones wins, he could make a bid for that- He may even be able to fight other top young guys. But it all depends on who he thinks he can beat and how he thinks he can beat them. For instance, he says he saw exploitable weaknesses in Pavliks game, and he showed us that he truely is a student of the game, you know? I think he still has what it takes to beat other top 10-ers in a couple of divisions.

 

I think Hopkins would be stupid to take on Dawson. He's just a younger, bigger, faster, and noticeably more talented version of Taylor. Dawson's hand speed and combinations would simply keep Hopkins in a shell just like he was against Calzaghe and Taylor. He won't be able to dictate the pace.
