Jermain should hang out at that barber shop in Little Rock while those hangers on can make excuses for him.

You are the most hilarious poster on this board - no knowledge about the game, really...absolutely disgraceful...

But the deduction of 3 points was ok to me - so AA still won that fight...and is back on track.

I think Abraham has very good power, but he was beaten by Miranda. Miranda outworked him and was robbed. It was funny how they were allowing Arthur to rest so much. The doctor checks him and his corner wanted to stop it and he rested and rested. Arthur got a fantastic break. That's y Miranda didn't knock him out.

After AA had his jaw broken. Before that AA was 3-1 after 4 rounds. And you are saying "if it wasnt for the deduciotns" but there were deductions and legit ones, maybe 1 wasnt legit but most were legit. Not only he had a broken jaw but was repeatedly hit behind the head and below the belt.

There were still 7 rounds to go...but enough of this - Taylor to rematch Pavlik should be the 1st choice for either guy and HBO.

Taylor can make the ajustments - it's all about sticking to the gameplan and economic boxing...maybe he wears earplugs...

I don't see why there wouldn't be an immediate rematch. It is the biggest money fight for both fighters and it would be another great fight. Bring it on:good

2 deductions were legit. one for the head butt, and another for one of the lowblows. take that with a grain of salt though, cause being a miranda fan i'm a bit bias. imo most of those "low blows" were on the belt line, AA just did a good acting job to get the deductions. though i admit miranda should've finished him after the broken jaw. but that was hard against a guy who has a tight shell, and was on survival mode the rest of the fight (miranda being one dimensional also has something to do with it). randy neuman is a ****in imcompetent ref.

Abraham KO's him. Most of the SMW top 10 does also.

What else does he have? His avenue's are limited.

A lot depends on what Taylor can change and how much better Pavlik gets before a rematch.

Pavlik has proved he can knock Taylor out......and might even do it quicker next time.

I was concerned for Taylor's health when I saw him with his back to the ropes getting pummeled and slowly falling to the canvas
( I saw the Griffith - Kid Paret fight "live" on TV many years ago)

Even though I think Abraham can beat Pavlik, Taylor showed a fair bit of improvment this fight (for the first time in a while)... let me put it this way, i'm more confident of Abraham beating Pavlik than I am of him beating Taylor. Taylor has a lot of attributes that could give Abraham trouble based off this fight, he's quick on his feet (if a bit sloppy), can fight off the ropes it seems, has quick hands and a nice jab when he uses it. Taylor could be troublesome if he fights more intelligently (big hypothetical I know).

Pavlik on the other hand is easier to counter, has slower hands and sloppier punches at time imo (which I think plays into Arthurs' defence a bit). His power I think is neutralised by Abrahams' toughness, while I think Abrahams' power is going to affect Pavlik more than the reverse.
