he is more of a hardcore pacquiao fan who doesn't believe that no matter how great a fighter is, there is a limitation. for him, pacquiao is superman. :D

I understand, but this is exactly why other posters start saying that Pac will be detroyed if he fights those boxers and then we have the so called hardcore (IMO Fanatics) fans who start calling theses posters haters.

And for the record, there are plenty of people who only appreciate a few styles of boxing. I am not going to say that they are wrong for it. But it certainly doesn't make them right....and anyone who steps in the ring deserves respect.

I am sure you can find many positives about Guzman to make up a nickname for him. His handspeed, his chin, etc. Why pick something you perceive as negative?

juan diaz is the logical choice. a better legacy defining fight, and does wonders for pac's wallet. a win would be an awesome accomplishment for a guy who started at 106. a loss would'nt be bad either, and could be viewed favorably as a valiant effort in an attempt at greatness. a guzman fight offers none of the above in risk/reward terms. probably after pac has a go at diaz a fight against guzman would be more feasible.

I'm not afraid of Guzrun, Do you think DLH, PBF & Hatton is an easier fight than Guzzy??? When Pac's done with Hatton, Nobody will mention Guzrun as Pac's next opponent, you will cry for Pac to take PBF next.

I have certainly shown you the amount of respect you deserve. I never insult you prior to your insulting me. I never refer to a fighter outside his name or any derogatory manner as you just did. If anything, I may have afforded you too much respect on some occasions with the way you carry on. You seem unable to push your fighter up without putting others down.

Countering your opinion does not show disrespect for it. Nor does questioning your logic when it isn't applied evenly.

Read what I said. It wouldn't be embarassing to lose to DLH, PBF, or Hatton and Pac would have a great excuse after losing. If and when he fights Guzman and gets completely owned by a guy his size, he will have no excuses and his fans will see Guzman as the better fighter. If you're a big Pac fan, you would care about him beating the best in the SFW division more than Pac getting the biggest money fights. It's obvious that Freddie Roach and Arum are scared to death of a Guzman matchup. It's obvious you recognize the stylistic problem for Pac against him. There's no point of arguing about this. It's a fact that you're afraid of Pac fighting Guzman.

First of all, Guzman doesn't run. He's a slick boxer and counter puncher. He's the epitome of the sweet science, albeit, not in a textbook sort of way.

Secondly, for Pacquiao to establish a true, lasting legacy, he needs to face the best in his division. He's doing that with Marquez, and should he win, he must fight Joan Guzman who is more than worthy of a shot.

Lastly, Hatton KOs Pacquiao. End of story...

The next for Pacman is Joan Guzman, if I have a say on Pacman's next fight. Then fight Valero and then retire by getting KO'ed by Hatton. I think Arum wants a Hitman vs Pacman fight.

Guzman has a pretty leaky defense at times as he often squares his shoulders to exchange punches. His footwork and handspeed are quick but his balance is sloppy. His ring smarts are average at best.

You wanna see the epitome of the sweet science then start watching Hopkins and PBF. Also check out Calzaghe's fight against Kessler.

Guzman is nowhere near that level yet, and at this age i have my doubts.
