I think its obvious that the looser goes home and retires, but what happens to the winner? Thoughts?

The winner will be retired by their next opponent.

I could care less about the Tito - Jones fight.
Maybe I will change my mind, we'll see.

A title shot or a crack at Hopkins (if he doesn't agree to face Calzaghe)

The winner should retire as well. The only way for these two fighters is down. They are fighting each other because its a winnable fight for both, especially for Jones IMO. They would get a comprable purse fighting Calzaghe or Hopkins, even Kessler, but those are not winnable fights for either really, with Trinidad the least likely to pull out a victory over any of those I just mentioned.

Trinidad has decent power, and he obviously has looked at Jones' recent KO defeats, combined with his age and overall evaported skills. Probably the $$$ signs are flashing in the eyes of both.

Jones has always fancied his chances against Trinidad. He knows he's hittable, and has been inactive for 2 years. And he's smaller physically. Trinidad has had three fights in just over 5 years.

If tito wins (which im hoping he does, but not betting on it) he should fight cotto after cotto fights oscar (assuming cotto wins). then mayweather would almost have to fight cotto with names like de la hoya and trinidad on his resume (even tho oscar and tito are not in their prime) it would still b names on his resume that are very well known.

    any1 agree ?

    NO...........Tito KILLS Miguel Cotto.

And it only a "slight" exaggeration.............Miguel doesn't move enough, Tito would put him in the ground "boxing-wise"....

I mean it was rumored that they trying to keep Miguel away from big punchers.
