Can you see him getting another title shot in 2008?

I dont think he will take a tough next fight, most likely it will be a lame contender show. But i hope he makes lots of money and gets a title shot again.

The winner of Manfredo/Lacy would be a good fight for him.

Yes, both in terms of providing a suitable challenge and in terms of interesting syles' contrasts and because it would sell well. I wish Sakio all the best too!:happy

Yup. But the "who" depends on what match ups will take place start of next year in the SM division, ie who choc faces, who calzaghe faces etc.

Bute might take him on again now that he has money pulling power - thanks to the TV exposure.

Maxime was saying that it was unlikely InterBox could pay enough to attract Bika to Montreal these days...

Choc is chasing easy fights against Argie bums. End of story for him, he is a waste of time....forget Choc :thumbsup

Im prettty sure the Contender owns bika for a while. Thats why a lot of aussies fighters decided against trying out for it.

Id imagine they will look at something on T.V, possibly a rematch with Codrington, maybe a matchup with T.V favourites like Miranda or Al Green, I reckon the winner of Mafredo-Lacy could be an option.

yeah Rock what I understand is that the contender has him for 5 years. Though not sure if he will be fighting then

He has been given $750 000 now they will want him to work for it and make some money back for them

Is it all that bad really?

Look at Manfredo I mean he is the poster boy for average and look where the contender has taken him.

Sakio is set, once he owns property in Sydney he is set for life. So from now on in he will more than likely just be looking to pay the bills and I reckon he can get enough good fights to do it.

    No you di-ent :rofl

I think half of that $750K should go towards a huge list of plastic surgery procedures for Mrs Bika.

He did 5 years worth of work for the Contender in the fight against Codrington. Earnt ESPN another series of The Contender.

Personally I'd like to see him fight Mundine.

I would like Bika to remain in the US & look to take on the likes of Allan Green, Edison Miranda, Librado Andrade or the winner of Jeff Lacy & Peter Manfredo.
I feel Jeff Lacy would be way too good for Peter Manfredo.

Bika vs Manfredo makes too much sense to not happen eventually. In the interim, Bika vs. Zuniga would make a nice action fight that Bika would almost surely win.
