he'll take the euro strap without too much bother I should think! he must be deceptively quick when your in against him, I can't explain how he manages to throw what look to be slow telegraphed shots yet they land.. **** me sometimes he was almost running towards Stephen smith with his arm cocked and they were landing... Weird!
Apparently Lee Selby spoke with Floyd Mayweather when he went over to train, he was giving him tips and advice. Ricky Burns didnt even get that, he trained away over in the corner on the bag for a week.
Shut up Craney you ****ing turnip! I read what Billy and others had to say about Ricky's trip. ''he trained away over in the corner'' atsch now that bits a total lie, isnt it Craney?
Selby looked fantastic. Solid punches, speed, great movement, confidence and a showman. I think he will be fighting for a world title soon!
Shut up fanboy, "Mr. Ricky Burns Number 1 fan" Billy said, yes, your messiah said, he went over to the Mayweather gym and didnt really speak to anyone, Floyd wasnt about, and Ricky worked mainly on the bag for a few days. Try again. :tired
Whats your opinion on Selby IB? for me he seems to have that intangible something that will take him a long way.
I really don't think he's that cocky, its a lazy misconception. Most interviewers have trouble dragging words out of him, he's pretty shy and the ring is a place where he expresses himself. Also Strike, I don't think anybody had him pegged as a Mini-Tyson? He's a good puncher, he's developed some power in the last few years, but his power isn't fearsome, never will be. Thought he did a good job on Lindsay. Completely dominated him on his home patch. He got a bit complacent at times and made some defensive errors, but overall it was a good 8/10 performance. I really think he's world class.
I agree T. I think the boys got a world title in him if he keeps developing and thing is he looks a better boxer now then he did against Simpson and Smith which is scary IMHO.
I hadn't seen that much of him and some of what I'd read on here seemed to suggest he was a fearsome puncher. You can tell he hits with some power, but I guess it was more a case of some posters over doing it more than anything else.
