What next for Sergio Martinez?

Yeah it is, but Mayweather won't fight him, so he may have to travel to earn a good cheque, and Germany won't be a bad start. Doubt he will get much for a home coming fight and doesn't seem to be drawing much in America.

 

There's 3 or 4 good middleweight prospects coming up but it's not the right time for either them or Sergio to face each other so that's kind of out of the picture. Sadly they'll be ready probably around the same time Martinez is looking to get out of the game.

In terms of name value aside from Pac/Mayweather? Cotto at 155? It's a bit of a struggle to name people really. Get the proper result against Cintron?

 

Sturm would be one I'd like to see. He'd beat Sturm easily, he is the worst ever style for Sturm it would be an exhibition.

Theres no 3rd fight needed until Paul Willaims proves he deserves one and starts fighting at middleweight.

It pisses me off when fighters don't forfil there mandatorys. Zbik is a top 10 Middleweight with every independent panel and has been interim champion for 18 months. If we don't get a unification why would it not be Zbik. Spada, Della Rossa, Hieland were all ranked by the WBC in the top 15. How many guys in the top 15 did Martinez beat at Middleweight?

The best fights in boxing get made by the sanctioning bodies. As ****ed up as they are, they still serve a purpose and that is to mandate competative fights. I don't see HBO giving us to many of them.
