Agreed on Whyte as I said he's damaged goods now. But if Parker has to step down a level to fight someone I'd like to see him avenge a loss. Beating Anderson, Bakole or Wardley do nothing for his resume and financially make less sense. I don't see any of those fights being likely. Anderson isn't getting thrown in with anyone decent anytime soon, he's another hype job waiting to be exposed. Bakole is a decent fight but he's basically a worse version of Zhang, less skilled, less power with an equally bad gas tank but is the best of the 3 you mentioned and would be acceptable. Wardley drew with Clarke he's no way ready for such a big step up and done nothing to deserve a shot at Parker. I get what you are saying with rematches but it's been years since the first fight and Parker right now is at his peak.
I would like to see Zhang vs Makhmudov as well. Zhang got to stay active. I think it will be good for him if he fights in another 3 months. Rack up another KO win and don’t get lazy.
Zhang v Dubois and Joshua v Parker. Would be nice Zhang vs Dubois. Think Zhang wins. Dubois would need to survive the early onslaught and would need more boxing IQ than he's shown to do it.
Zhang vs Joshua makes the most sense now and Dubois vs Jared Anderson or Joe Parker can be added to that card. Heavyweights need to fight each other. The results of the Fury-Usyk rematch could fight the winner of Zhang vs Joshua
This is boxing---things do not fall into the logical plans. I think Usyk gets the Zhang sweepstakes. And Joshua-Dubois sells out Wembley.
It is not very wise for Hrgovic to fight against Zhang who brutally knocked out Wilder, Hrgovic should go against Joyce or Wallin who are now in a similar situation as him...
