He ducked Kovalev and jumped to showtime in order for the big money fight with Hopkins yet now it's Hopkins fighting Sergei.

I hear rumors of a possible Pascal fight but i think it's bull, Jean fought super pimp twice in the amateurs when Adonis was raw, ain't no way he fights him now. Infact, Pascal seems to have a fear of Stevenson imo ("Shout out to my boy Adonis, he's black, like me"):rofl

Does he rematch Fonfara or go after someone else?

He may as well rematch Fonfara. Pascal seems a little too friendly- I couldn't trust that, even if the fight happens, there wouldn't be a gentlemen's agreement in place to take it easy.

It's just damn entertaining seeing things shake out like this. Massive props to Hopkins for pulling a shocking plot twist straight from a WWE story line. GYM is in disbelief.

I thought the same thing.Boxing could use more plot twists like this. Fook GYM and fook Yvon Michel, karma's a *****.

Me too. If I had to guess, I'd say that the conditions were unfavorable in BHops mind from a business standpoint. He was probably treated like Stevenson had the upper hand in negotiations by Haymon and GYM and maybe SHO.

Then Oscar probably came along and reminded him that even though he liked Richard, he was still a GBP shareholder and still has a job after fighting if he wants it.. and boy, GBP would sure be in a lot better position if someone helped crack the door back open at HBO in a situation that SHO couldnt really get angry about.

But thats pure conjecture thrown out to see how accurate I am if we ever find out for real.

Forget him, he got what he deserved and I hope when he starts begging Kovalev for a shot when he's pushing 40 and nobody cares, Kovalev laughs in his face.

That's true, although too much twists can ruin the story. Just imagine if Caparillo beats Kovalev this weekend :yep
