Throw him on the s**** heap...Ricky in business terms is a toxic asset especially with FW looking to clean him out in the legal BS..matchroom want rid of him ASAP

Why do you think they have no interest in him? He made the fight for him on the undercard, not Eddies fault that Froch suffered an injury, ****ing idiots

Can't blame Hearn for not wanting anything to do with Scottish boxing. The best time to go back is after the Olympics when Josh Taylor will hopefully do well.

Simmons and Limmond was mentioned as front lining a card by Hearn but that was a while ago, think he'd rather fit them in on a card in England by the looks of it. He could get Burns to make a fool of that tramp Harrison in a domestic card with the others on it, that would sell out

Get him a British title fight. Doesn't deserve anything better.

I think it's wrong to say that Matchroom have no interest in Scottish boxing but more to do with nobody really catching the imagination at the minute to run the big shows that Matchroom want to run. Ricky is still the biggest draw but imo after his last couple of fights I think they would be reluctant to run a show with him top of the bill.

I've heard that Josh Taylor might be turning pro and i kind of understand that, he has the Gold medal now and although he would get more with an Olympic medal it is very hard to reach the Olympics never mind medal at them. If Josh turned over then there could be big boxing again with him and Stevie Simmons in Edinburgh.

But until either Ricky hits form again or somebody exciting comes along then big time boxing in Scotland is going to be few and far between.

Scotland has some good prospects coming through but they are not punchers and rightly or wrongly punchers grab the headlines and make people interested

I still think we will see him on in the states as Hearn supposedly had a deal with Haymon , Hearn goes on about needing a headline act yet he was licking the scots fans ****s saying it was the best reception Joshua had in all his shows , his old man built shows up here around Eubank etc , dont see why he couldnt produce a show with AJ topping the bill

Think he wants AJ to be predominantly a london fighter when he gets big, maybe somewhere like manc as well
