Sure that's 12 losses now for Del. No way cam he still be PPV (same goes for Parker). Del should fight Arreola next. Or call it a day. Parker/Wilder would be interesting.
Parker should face Hrgovic next. Let’s see if he really has improved or if he can only do that performance against someone who lunges forward in a straight line. Chisora should face a lower level opponent, then win and retire on a win
Chisora should probably retire as I fear he's had one hard fight too many now. He obviously loves the sport more now than he did when he was younger though so if he is to continue, he should fight someone closer his own age. The winner of the Martin vs Ortiz fight springs to mind. I'd still fancy Chisora over either of those.
Parker vs Wilder would be good see Parker end the overrated Wilder hype but no chance Wilder's team allow to fight someone as Good as Parker. A realistic opponent would be Joyce or Hrgovic. Chisora vs Wardley, Bakole or Dubois would make for entertaning fights.
There's a lot of opportunity for Chisora to carry on. All the managers and promoters of up and coming prospects will be keen to use him as a stepping stone. His career will carry on like it has been, but with the quality of opponent he loses to decreasing, along with the sizes of the purses. He's probably a multi millionaire and secure financially, he's probably no mug with his money. But he will still want that extra income for a few more years.
Chisora should retire, but he'll keep fighting until he gets a clean KO imho. Wonder if Matchroom will give Wallin a go at him next to make up for the Whyte fiasco? Parker showed more last night than I've seen in any of his previous fights. I'd be happy to see him in with Joyce or Hrgovic next.
Has he not been here before though? After the first Whyte loss (50-50 whether he actually won it) he had the comeback over Takam and probably deserved another run. After Whyte he built himself back up with Spilka, Price, etc, and although fighting Usyk was clearly a gatekeeper job, it kept him busy and relevant. Suspect for the next 2 years at least, there will be people willing to offer Del a fight because they know the crowds and money will follow. Even if he has to go down a level to get a fight worth talking about.
His durability mostly always got him through fights (mostly to decision losses) against fringe/world level opponents along with his plodding forward style. Them days are well and truly gone for him now. His chin isn't holding them shots anymore and people like Hearn will have spotted that last night and no doubt see someone who's ripe for an up and comer to get a big KO against a gatekeeper. The commentators were raving about him but all I saw was shades of Kevin Johnson.
Forgot to add...I thought Parker was dominant but again imo lacked that finishing instinct when Chisora was there for the taking. I wonder if he doubts his own power? It looked a bit odd when Chisora was walking off on him and he just let him. Needs a couple more performances like that against decent fighters and he'll be in with a title shot again.
