A few rounds with Matthysse would make Guerrero wish he had ruby slippers on so he could shut his eyes, click the heels together, and will himself back in the ring with Salido or Yordan.

...as opposed to all those later fights at 147 where he settled in and looked great. :huh

Granted with Senchenko he was shot and inactive so we can disregard that one, but the Ricky that fought PBF was the exact same as the one that fought Collazo and Collazo deserves full credit for spanking him even though (and especially since) he didn't get the credit from the judges.

Besides, that is a very weak excuse when you consider that Hatton was being touted as top pound for pound material, in his prime, coming off title unification and his crowning achievement over Tszyu both earlier in that same year - while Collazo was relatively little-known and regarded to be merely a so-so titlist, almost served on a platter for Hatton to collect a belt in a second division.

Even with it being his only foray to date up to 147, the mere fact that it was close (let alone it being a gift) is humiliating for Hatton when you factor in what he represented and what Collazo did heading in.

Collazo deserves a big money fight..The guy has been toiling in the shadows for quite some time now and has been the victim of horrible decisions...He definitely deserves it...As for ortiz? Stick a fork at him....:tired

I like Collazo a lot and feel he got some raw deals in his career, but people laughing off Abregu like suddenly Collazo is on some different stratosphere altogether who can now only be reasonably matched with elite marquee names, just for beating Ortiz? That's just silly.

well i knew collazo could pull it off. but i havent seen collazo fight sense they robbed him vs berto. so i knew he could do this .i mean its victor ortiz hes not all that special n collazo has real skills i knew he could do it. n back to the berto/collazo who knows berto was prolly on steroids. he got busted once so he coulda been gettin away with it for a while. n ever sense he got busted hes looked realy bad.

collazo deserves a good fight... im thinkin hes wit golden boy now considering it was golden boy puttin on the show last nite.

so i think we can expect collazo to go at with anyone on the huge list of welters on there roster.

and abregu/collazo fight would be really good fight..i think collazo would probably try to outbox him but abregu might force a fight but collazo might be down wit that pretty much like he was vs berto. but abregu is a hell of a fighter u knock his ass down n gets up and he fights better

why not? didn't The Ghost get a shot for beating Berto? Collazo fought the fresher version, stood toe to toe and got ****ing got robbed. Guerrero was coming from lightweight and had done what? yet he got a shot at Mayweather. Ortiz got dropped by Berto had already quit vs Maidana and Mayweather still had to stoop low and resort to sucker punches, at least Collazo crushed Qrtiz with a legitimate punch in only 2rds. I say Collazo right now is more deserving of a shot than ****ing Kahn!

how is it a stretch, You act as if Mayweather fights the cream, instead of ducking Pac and cherry picking opponents, thats the reality. How many quitters, no hopers and slow Mexicans must this clown fight? how is it a stretch when in reality Collazo has the skills and size and would be a step up,,,,,,

He would wipe the floor with Broner he should seek a fight with Pederson though can see him winning that one and getting another belt at 147

so collazo gets his first KO in a decade and we forget about all his mediocre performances? ummm ok
and just because guerrero got a shot for doing nothing doesnt make it a standard. and no one said khan deserved anything either.....
