hhmmm :think that is strange for froch, him and mccracken are tight, i'll keep an eye on this one, it must be hard for froch to go from possible number 1 in the division on the verge of becoming p4p rated fighter to clear number 2 with no excuses, its hard enough for me to accept it

Think Kessler would be the logical choice it will avenge his loss and gain credibility again.

He has plenty of potential fights. The biggest one could be a fight with Bute. Ward didn't sound like he was chomping at the bit to get to Bute and Bute has shown the kind of tendencies that make him taking on the loser of last nights fight seem more likely than the winner. Froch stands a much better chance of beating the less elusive Bute than he does Ward and an upset win there would be great for him.

A fight with the Kessler/Stieglitz WBO title fight is likely, could be put soemwhere in Europe, if Kessler wins it's a good rematch fight.

He could go to lightheavy if he decides he can match up with those guys and he's never going to get to the top of the division with Ward there, a Pascal rematch could happen if he's not sitting out waiting on someone to fight from the Hopkins/Dawson situation. Cleverly vs Froch for the WBO title isn't likely as I can't see Fwank putting Clev near anyone dangerous yet, that's not his style. There's other European lightheavyweight contenders who could be lured to England without much trouble for a home town fight.

Kessler rematch is the biggest fight for him. After that he could have a money fight with Groves.

He could try Bute, but he'd lose handily there imo.

Would Kessler fight him in the UK though. Seems like Calzaghe was right when he said to Carl "see how well you do with Kessler"

I still reckon Carl is an average boxing talent, but to get where he has with such limited skill says alot about his mindset.

Alot of boxers become after dinner speakers, motivational "gurus" ( Billy Schewer ) etc, this is something I would seriously consider if I were Carl.

I mean you know "if a ****** like me can become world champ, you kids can achieve anything innit"

He's definately got that positive thinking vibe going on, it works wonders.

    Good luck to him
