In my opinion (and how fans rag on his opponents I don't know), He has taken out that 'tier' of Middles who have pushed the champs to the wire (Murray, Macklin, Geale. Although Geale was a good win, he never put in performances like Matt and Mart did against the likes of Sturm and Sergio), and done it in style.

Those guys, in that division, are top names to have on the CV.

    Quillin won't go near him.

Cotto = Ditto. He is holding that belt hostage and no doubt would want the fight at a catch-weight.

Lee? He'd go for it, IMO.

But then what? One of those guys HAS GO TO STEP UP and fight GGG. Otherwise they just cannot be taken seriously.

Canelo-GGG would be huge. I think Canelo would be up for it. Otherwise it's a Brit like Andy Lee or Saunders.

Lee will take the fight, Quillen and Cotto will not.

    Go Andy!

that winner must face Saunders, who took step-aside money to set it up. if Lee beats them both he might face Golovkin next year in Monte Carlo.

Next step should be to a fight against Lemieux for the vacant WBC Belt that hopefully the WBC strips from Cotte asap due to ducking GGG.

Getting the winner of Lee/Quillin for the end of the year could be the following step...

I think Tureano Johnson might be the only option near term, if Cotto doesn't step up, of course.

WBC has already given Cotto permission for a duck before facing his mandatory (Golovkin).

Lemieux has accepted fighting N'dam for the IBF belt, which is being negotiated. you guys don't really keep up with the division, do ya. :patsch

I'm not really sure what's left after Lee/Quillen and N'Dam/Lemieux. Maybe he can convince Lara and Canelo to move up?
