What now for Hopkins?

The guy at the end of the social security line.

 

Retirement.

He has nothing left to prove, and has just finished with a record that will be around probably until the turn of the next century.

I see him securing an eliminator type fight, winning, then getting another shot at the title for some reason...

 

Tarver and then retire.

 

I'd rather see him fighting Clev, he dominated Tarver previously so there's nothing to gain from that fight IMO.

 

Move up to fight Wlad then Ret.

 

I seem to be alone in my thinking, but I think he should try his hand at cruiserweight. . . I really think he can win some fights there. . .

 

Cleverly surely isn't on Hopkins level.

It's the welsh thing that will promote this fight, but I see through all that.

he needs to retire...great boxer but its time hang them up. His style of fighting was boring as hell to but man what a career. To the Hall of Fame baby!!

 

Farewell fight and retire. I don't want to see him get stopped.

 

He should just retire.
The next fight (unless against some journeyman) might permanently injure him or something to that extent.

Leave while you're still considered competitive by most. That's what I'd do.

 

Cloud would be the perfect fight around fall or late summer for Hopkins.. He as the style that hopkins can expose... only thing he have to watchout for is cloud strength
