Bit like Dull Boy Chisora now - one more loss away from being a journeyman.

Always liked John who gives his all in the ring.

Imo he still has something to offer at domestic level, i'd like to see him in with Derry Mathews, Liam Walsh, Martin Gethin and although not everyone will agree Scott Harrison! Scott and John would add something to any bill and although both aren't quite their best they would still leave it all in the ring in an exciting fight!!

Brave, brave fighter who has given us all some epic fights the Rios fight ruined him the extra $20k he got for Rios not making weight came at a real cost.

That night shortened his career he should of been pulled out rounds earlier.Fans hate fighters that quit,Murray has no quit in him but JG should of taken him out of the firing line earlier.

Could he of lived the life better sure...it catches up with you as well.

Should be looking at the winner of Mathews/Gethin vs Flannigan for me.

Just fighting against another domestic opponent or try building his way up the rankings in a governing body. He was good yesterday, if he had a more sensible fight plan who knows what could have happened. No disgrace in losing to Crolla, he keeps on proving people (including me) wrong.

He's still got something to offer at domestic level, but not for long. He takes a hell of a lot of punches in every fight and that, plus his old lifestyle will catch up with him quick.

On a side note, what the hell were his corner playing at last night. I didn't hear one constructive bit of advice. All they kept saying was 'Come on John mate, come on... Come on now mate' If he wasn't taking so many punches it would have been funny.

Get the feeling if he loses one of his next few fights he will become a glorified punchbag for prospects like audley became
