What now for Mitchell?

Maybe a few months in Eastenders as Billy Mitchell's long lost brother will do him the world of good.

 

biggest load of *******s ever Mitchell was class imo linares is very good and you have to admire Mitchell he left nothing in that ring don't think he will ever be the same again people talk about world class etc Mitchell was ahead on the cards knocked the champ over had him in all sorts of trouble but the cut sustained by a head clash!! caused him to lose great fight close fight but to say linares is levels above Mitchell is pathetic watch it again there was nothing between them until the cut and swelling forced the stoppage

 

why are so many people giving Mitchell stick the lad fought his heart out with terrible injuries he always gives us what we want to see and that's an exciting fight , how many british fighters do we have like him? not many, went out on his shield Mitchell is one tough son of a ***** and a gentlemen but most of you still think its ok to take the **** because you could all do better!!!

 

Great figt and id like to see it again as hadnit not been for the clash making him one eyed i think he would have won but that us boxing. Had he survived te round and not taken a knee he would have one on points but as i said thats just goes boxing is very unforgiven

 

I think he deserves a rematch tbh.


If he gets the rematch and loses than i think he should call it a day.

And subsequent horrific swollen eye he would not have took those shots that hurt him as he was blinded.

It's a hard one, he done well and was probably a little unlucky but you can't keep on falling short at the top level and keeping on getting chances

I'm no Mitchell apologist but anyone who doesn't get a buzz when he comes in to that Missing Andy track, and then watching him fight going out on his shield even if he loses / shoulda lived the life / isn't quite world class etc, well that person just isn't my kind of boxing fan.

Jorge linares is a bloody good fighter, but don't make him it to be top 5 p4p cause he ain't. Kevin was beating him before the breakthrough. And that's partly Kevin's fault for not putting it more on linares.

 

Everybody giving it the big hes a warrior as if hes a new age Gatti , he got bleached simple as just as he did vs both Katsidis and Burns , yet everybody is quick to jump on Burns hes done etc etc , From Kevs face throughout camp you could see swelling in most interviews and from hearsay Ricky was beating on his regularly and opened up the bridge of his nose, If Burns is finished as eveyone makes out maybe they should have knew kev would fall short at world level again
