    Retirement or the opponent-for-hire circuit.

Since Haye moves up to heavyweight, Mormeck should just stay at cruiserweight and try to get the belts back. Maybe a third fight with O'Neil bell? If he wins that one he could fight Maccarinelli.

Mormeck wants Tiozzo. It would be by far his bigger purse in career.

If Mormeck had won he would have forgotten Tiozzo. But Mormeck is not completely stupid, he knows Tiozzo is old, it's now or never. Mormeck had thought of the defeat and he had called out Tiozzo in the newspaper L'Equipe before the Haye fight. He would obtain about 500.000 euros for Tiozzo with Canal+ being very interested in this french fight. Tiozzo has been very arrogant since his destruction of DM, claiming he was the only great champ in France etc. Mormeck vs Tiozzo is not so easy to predict in fact. Tiozzo has a better stamina and he hits very hard. He has problems with mobile counterpunchers (Hill, Branco) but he is very good against warriors (Miller, DM).

Tiozzo never really retired. He was not interested in a defense of the WBA title for a small purse after the mega purse he obtained against DM that's all. Be sure he will come back to fight Mormeck.

So you think he will be back? Even as a Cruiserweight?

Tiozzo won't make the LHW limit anyway + he was also a titleholder at cruiser after all... He never accepted the defeat against Hill, the only really bad performance of his career. Tiozzo had resisted a prime Hill 12 rounds with 0 experience and as a champ he was KOed in 1 by an old Hill... The story Mormeck-Tiozzo is complex : without this upset loss Mormeck would have never obtained a shot at the WBA title against Hill. Tiozzo considers Mormeck robbed his belt. He wanted the rematch with Hill at this time.
A Tiozzo vs Mormeck fight makes much sense cause they have unfinished business. Both are natural LHW, the two guys don't like each other and it would be a pure war.
